Hello

I'm Paris Farzami, a Registered Psychotherapist based in Toronto, Ontario. I provide in person and virtual therapy to adolescents and adults in English and Farsi.

My journey into psychotherapy has been shaped by a diverse professional background in counselling and psychotherapy within community agencies, non-profit organizations, and private practice, as well as experience in human resources and supporting children with special needs. Working alongside individuals and families from diverse backgrounds has deepened my appreciation for the many ways life experiences, relationships, culture, and circumstances influence our mental health. These experiences continue to shape a practice grounded in compassion, curiosity, cultural humility, and genuine respect for each person's unique story.

I believe meaningful change begins when we have the space to slow down, feel understood, and reconnect with ourselves. My hope is that therapy provides that space, one where healing, growth, and lasting change can unfold at your own pace.

My Therapeutic Approach

My approach to therapy is integrative, collaborative, and person centred. Rather than following a one size fits all approach, our work is tailored to your unique needs, strengths, and goals, drawing from evidence based therapeutic approaches that best support your individual circumstances. Sessions offer a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns with curiosity and self compassion, while developing practical tools that foster resilience, greater self understanding, and meaningful, lasting change.

Education and Experience

I hold a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and a professional designation in Human Resources. I am also a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Together, my education, professional training, and clinical experience provide a strong foundation for delivering evidence based, ethical, and compassionate care.
